What's the diference to access the e-mails by Webmail, POP or IMAP?
Webmail
To access your e-mails by Webmail it's not necessary to use a program os e-mails, as Outlook, Entourage or Thunderbird. Is just use a navigator (as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox).
For access the webmail, type in your navigator the address http://webmail.domain.ws (replacing "domain.ws" for your real domain).
To use your e-mails by POP (or POP3) is necessary to use a e-mail program. The access by POP low the messages from server, and save locally in your computer (with the option to keep, or not, copy on server).
The folders created in your webmail it´s not acessible by POP, just Inbox folder. If you want to access another folders, created in webmail, will be necessary use the IMAP access.
Like the access by POP, it´s necessary to use a e-mail program, but the messages isn't downloaded for your computer, they stay in server.
Using your e-mails by IMAP you can access all your created folders in your webmail, additionally you can create folders by your e-mail program, and they will be created in your webmail too.
This access type allows the you use your e-mail in more than one computer, and by webmail too, keeping all messages synchronized.
